When the garden has got away from you, a useful first visit makes ongoing care easier. We agree the areas that matter most, work through your priorities, then recommend a maintenance schedule suited to your garden, growth and budget.
Lawn mowing & edging
A tidy cut, defined lawn edges and work clippings cleared from adjacent paths. We agree whether clippings are caught or mulched and check access, slopes and lawn condition.
Hedge trimming & light pruning
Shape and tidy hedges and shrubs while protecting wanted plants and screening. Significant reductions, tree work and difficult access are assessed and priced separately.
Regular garden maintenance
Weekly, fortnightly or monthly care built around agreed tasks: lawns, weeds, beds, hedges and seasonal tidy-ups. Frequency and price are confirmed for your property.
Lawn improvement & seasonal care
Discuss fertilising, lawn renovation, patch repair and seasonal recovery. We check the cause of poor growth and agree preparation, materials and follow-up care.
Mulch, weeds & green waste
Bed preparation and mulching can support a more manageable garden. Weed treatments need separate agreement. Green waste stays in an approved onsite area or is removed at an agreed extra price.
Daycares & small commercial grounds
An initial tidy and an ongoing grounds plan, with access, visit windows, gates, children, pets and public areas considered before work starts.

Lawn mowing from $40 per visit
For maintained lawns under 100 m² with straightforward access. Includes mowing, edging and clearing work clippings from adjacent paths. Overgrown lawns, difficult access and green waste removal are quoted separately.
Three hours of garden help — $150
One person, three labour-hours towards agreed routine tasks, including time for the final tidy. Choose your priorities; a whole-property clearance is not promised. Materials and green waste removal are extra if required and agreed first.
All prices are NZD. Your written quote confirms the total, tax treatment, inclusions and any agreed extras before work starts. An enquiry or indicative estimate is not a confirmed booking.

Can I start with a one-off garden tidy?
Yes. Start with a defined reset or timed visit. Regular maintenance is optional and quoted separately.
Does the $150 visit include all the jobs listed?
No. It buys three labour-hours from one person. We agree ranked priorities and work through what fits, allowing time to leave the work area tidy.
Is green waste removal included?
Removal is quoted separately. We can leave suitable green waste in your approved bin or compost area where agreed.
Which areas do you cover?
Based in Kumeū, we serve Huapai, Riverhead, Waimauku and surrounding north-west Auckland, including Taupaki, Whenuapai and Westgate. We confirm travel and availability; work outside 20 km needs a travel and scheduling review.
